Nigel’s Academy of Music (N.A.M) was started by musician, drummer and performer, Nigel Collasco in the year 2013. He is also certified by Trinity college of London grade 8 -Drums. He was also the Head of the Music Department for Euroschool Airoli from 2013 to 2016 and has successfully written music programs and trained Students of Lodha World school for their annual days in the past. It is the outcome of his love and passion for Music. This being the main reason why we are not a conventional music academy that believes in teaching music only by the book. We teach, so that we can perform, we can compose, we can jam, we can record, we can make music and live our dream!
Over the last 7 Years, we have trained more than 2000 students covering all genres of western music. The academy offers various programs for Drums, Guitar, Piano, English Vocals Violin, Ukulele , Music production & a Recording studio. With, unconventional style of teaching the Academy follows a practical- experience based methodology which empowers the students to become performing musicians. From performing on stage to studio recordings and music videos, our students are encouraged to use their musical talents on various platforms, thereby accelerating their learning and performing abilities in the field of Music.
